
Standard terms governing the supply of mobile locksmith services by 7Skies Locksmiths.

We provide mobile locksmith services including but not limited to: emergency lockouts (residential, commercial, automotive), lock changes, lock fitting, lock repair, key cutting, key programming, and post-burglary security. All services are subject to a site assessment and availability of appropriate parts and equipment.
3.1 We provide an upfront quotation before any chargeable work commences. You are not obligated to proceed once a quote is given.
3.2 There is no call-out charge. A fee is only payable if you agree to the quoted price and work is carried out.
3.3 Quotes are based on visual assessment. If unforeseen complexity arises during the job, we will inform you and seek agreement before proceeding at a revised price.
3.4 Parts and materials used (locks, cylinders, etc.) are charged at cost plus applicable fitting fee.
For residential and commercial lockouts, we require the customer to confirm they are the property owner or are authorised to access the property. We reserve the right to request proof of identity or residence (e.g. driving licence, utility bill). We will not gain entry to a property where we have reasonable grounds to believe the customer is not authorised.
5.1 We will always attempt non-destructive entry first. Destructive techniques (e.g. drilling) will only be used where necessary and with your prior agreement.
5.2 In some cases, the nature of the lock or security fitting may make damage unavoidable. We are not liable for damage that is an unavoidable consequence of necessary entry where you have agreed to proceed.
5.3 We are not responsible for damage to property caused by pre-existing faults or deterioration of locks, frames or doors.
For vehicle lockout and key programming services, you must confirm ownership of the vehicle or written authorisation from the registered owner. We reserve the right to decline service where we cannot verify authorisation. Key programming is subject to vehicle make, model, year, and system compatibility — we cannot guarantee programming for all vehicles but will advise before attending where possible.
Payment is due upon completion of the work. We accept cash and bank transfer. In cases of non-payment, we reserve the right to pursue the outstanding sum through appropriate legal channels.
8.1 Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of service. If a fault arises from our installation or repair within this period, we will return to rectify it free of charge.
8.2 Manufacturer's warranties on parts (locks, cylinders) remain with the manufacturer and are subject to their terms.
8.3 Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or economic loss arising from any service or delay in service.
9.1 You may cancel a booked appointment at any time prior to the technician's arrival at no charge.
9.2 Response times are estimates and not guaranteed. Factors such as traffic, prior emergency jobs, and weather may affect arrival time.
9.3 If you are not present when the technician arrives, we may charge a reasonable fee for wasted journey if we are not contacted within 10 minutes of arrival.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
